F80 Launch control doesnt go under 3k rpm

Hello!

So i have f80, competition, 2016. When i start launch control, it doesnt go under 3k rpm, it does go higher but no lower. Official bmw service told me that this is stock and if i want to be able to go lower than 3k rpm, i need aftermarket (i assume aftermarket map or something)? Also they told me that launch control should have counting down, but i didnt notice that on any video on youtube.

The car is europe car.

Does anybody have this situation and solution?

I saw on youtube, some people can go to 2500 rpm.
