Yes, i wear the bmw M driving gloves every time I drive the car.

My hands get sweaty and it feels nervous during spirited driving. With the gloves, I feel confident and in control like Michael knight driving K.I.T.T lol

Ideally it will keep the leather looking good. I rather have all alcantara wheel though.

Decided to take a short night-time canyon run tonight. It was around 40 degrees Carbon Canyon Rd. One thing I love to do when it's this cold is drive with the windows down, seat heaters, and hot air blasting. I have a good jacket, beanie, and my driving gloves on.

Pit stop at the Circle K:

Yes. I have the electronic wheel. After more than a year the suede on the wheel looks the same as the day it was installed.

i'll admit it does feel nice. leather on leather grips better, so you dont have to grab the wheel as hard to turn it... but i can't use my phone with gloves on.
I can use touch screens with these gloves. It's not comfortable but it's possible.

I can see using them if you live in a cold climate, and I admit I used them when was younger.

It's funny how some members of car forums have such strong opinions about this topic.

Admittedly, I was one of the ones that worried I'd look douchey wearing gloves. In reality, no one cares. In reality, people think driving your car in Sport+ is more douchey.

Wear 'em if you like 'em.

If only glove wearers were allowed on this forum, it would be a far more pleasant environment.

Flame wars and road rage incidents would be classier, at least.

I have soft feminine hands, drive my F80 hard everyday, and find the use of regular weight lifting gloves to be good for preventing buildup of callouses.

Life's too short to give an Eff about what everyone else thinks. No matter what one does in life, someone is bound to have an opinion. Married folks with in-laws will understand this one ;-)

You drive an M car so you're already more than half the way up to being a douche anyway

Embrace your gloves, dudes

I guess I should add that the owner was a co-worker so not a complete stranger but it was still interesting.

He's probably cloning a test tube love child now with the sweat DNA cocktail he sampled from those gloves. Get ready to be a father!
