I had the same prior to the M3 CS. Non-ZCP with MPE. No burble on the non-ZCP but honestly you aren't missing much. Burble is kind of a gimmik nowadays. Cold start sounds the same to me for all of them.

The fact that as I am approaching 4 years of ownership I still look for reasons to drive it and it puts a smile on my face like my NSX did. I loved my NSX and it was the perfect NA car. The M4 is such a vastly different character but equally as fun and can hold the family on the rare occasion that my car gets picked for family outings.

I can sum those two last points up in one photo
I'm a track noob, but I'm really impressed by it on the track and it's the only BMW I've had the opportunity to drive over a long period of time that when I take it out for a spin up in the mountains, I "become one with the car" and really get a good flow going. The 6MT becomes especially more fun on track. The cloth seats are great, the wheels are light (unlike any other BMW before), it's a four-door sedan with a frickin' carbon driveshaft, and it really wants me to drive like a complete dickbag.

Totally agree the new grills have increased in size they look like lungs and not kidney grills.

I am surprised no one mentioned the launch control feature.
