Did you have to use expert mode? Seems like all the required bulbcheck settings are built in the app and wouldn't even require expert mode.

I wasn't sure if the settings were exactly the ones EAS wrote down, so I did it in expert mode. App stalled on me twice but I was able to code it. Took my time though making sure I didnt miss any or messed something up.
Just did actually a week ago. The only thing I noticed that my Kohlenstoff diffuser break light and the light on the car flickers for a nanosecond every 30seconds or so. Not sure what causes it. Probably another setting none thought of yet.

The afterburner lamp on the diffuser is tapped into a lamp that is still performing a bulbcheck, causing the LEDs to flicker.

Thanks Tom
Can that be fixed?

Yes, through coding. However, I'm not familiar with Bimmercode.

If you would happen to have the description like you posted on the DIY I can find it within the app with no problem. I would appreciate that very much

Post #4 shows everything needs to be coded. Shouldn't be any issues afterwards.

I did code all the value as #4. The left tail doesn't flicker and since its only the right Tail that flickers, which is also the one that the diffuser is tapped into makes me wonder if it has something to do with one being LED and one being bulb operated.

Shouldn't matter at all if Bulbcheck has been removed. Could be an issue with Bimmercode itself.

Just completed this swap - EAS diy instructions were solid as usual. Because I'm OCD, I took the extra step of using a 3/8" grommet in the hole where the extra wire goes. Also, don't be a big dummy like me and cut the long wire short because you think it's extra, only to find out otherwise once trying to close the trunk!

Sorry to comment on an old thread, but I’m doing this retrofit at the moment, but with OEM Blackline M Performance Lights, and the OEM retrofit harness (61122410220).

I’m guessing the way its been described in your tutorial to wire, would be different with the OEM harness?

Any help advice is greatly appreciated…

Stuart.
