DIY - I installed magnet carbon fiber paddle shifters on my M4.
Hi guys Recently I installed a magnetic paddle shifter on my M4. I made paddles out of carbon fiber to install the magnetic paddle shifter and printed the mounts on a 3D printer. And I made a resistive PCB board. * Model Files & Schematic * https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Gz?usp=sharing I made these courses into an interesting video, and I want to share the modeling files and schematics I used. Have fun watching my video. Thank you. |

I love watching all your videos, this one is certainly unique and I've always hated the mushy feeling of the shifts oem.
I'd try this myself by hacking up an existing cf paddle but I'm just not good with fabrication. New idea for you: column mounted shifter with large paddles like you'd see on a AR giulia. |

This is absolutely awesome! I have an Ascher wheel in my sim rig and the shifters are amazing. If you made these for sale, I would absolutely be a buyer and I bet a lot of others would too!!! Incredible.

where do you connect the paddles too?
I see on the video you cut the connectors that come with the paddles??
where do you plug them into the steering wheel?? I definitely WANT to do this to my car, but the biggest question is the small "boards" are need it to bypass the OEM connectors? In order to work with the BMW wheel? PLEASE ADVICE definitely Looking forward to this MOD. Much appreciate it. |
