Comparing Oranges to Oranges (Sakhir vs. Valencia vs. Fire) - Updated -

Was not a fan but I'm kinda liking black wheels with SO, and yes I am aware they are not the two-tone black upgrade offered from BMW. Might have to change my order to blk 19".

People don't realize how red the Sakhir Orange actually is.

They must be colorblind or have color balance issues with their monitor?

It's much closer to red than orange. My crayola 64 pack says it's between red orange and burnt Siena. :-)

Sakhir is the new imola.

I own a Sakhir Orange M6, the vehicle is clearly orange in direct sunlight. The only time it looks reddish is in the shade or at night.

Seen it many times beginning with M6 gran coupe at COTA last year in June 2013. Seen F10 M5 sedan locally. M4 at barber. Etc. I said that it is the new Imola as it appears to be the only red available for M cars... although I did find Melbourne red is available on the SAVs.

Actually.. Sakhir Orange and Sedona Red next to each other would be interesting to see how close they are.. orange red vs red orange..

A few years ago near my parent's neighborhood, I saw a man in his late 60's/early 70's living in a dilapidated two story home. Besides having an open garage filled with 'junk' like a hoarder, he had two mint 2002's locked behind the rusty chain link fence gate. One was white and the other was Inca Orange.

I hope when I'm senile I at least keep my cars in great condition.

+1. Couldn't have said it ant better myself.

I don't know why Valencia Orange looks different on the X1 and F2x's. On the 1M VO looks more darker to me. At least the cars I see on the streets of Germany.
