OLED CS/GTS Taillights F82/83

hey guys, so I'm rapidly finding out what an obsession these lights are.. a quick search will literally have 100's of threads with this topic. They look incredible, but definitely not spending 7-10k in these things.

I got these on my IG feed yesterday and wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience with these:


They look good and at 1k this is...tolerable. There is a "limited quantity", no reviews yet, so I'm wondering if this is a scam??

Most users on here interested in Rep OLEDS for F82/83 are ordering VLAND or AKD. These are still pretty new so you won't see many reviews because no one has received them yet (or at least haven't reported back to the forums). If you're looking for the "best" there's no concrete information on them yet.

Don't buy from that IG ad, they order from the same sellers on aliexpress and sell them for a few hundred profit. Just order it yourself from aliexpress like the rest of us did. You can negotiate the price down a bit to sub 800 shipped.

I would wait for someone / dealer to post some actual photos. Because F30/F80 had a V2 that had some changes and minor fix compare to the V1.

Surprised we haven't seen anyone with these yet except for the one guy in the M3 thread. Here they are on Amazon.

I'm just not sure if I'm going to go with them. The LCI tails have really grown on me and I think they're beautiful, not sure I want to install these knock offs on my car.

I agree, and I think the Euro version with Amber are really sexy!!

Received mine today. I ordered 2 different brands. Vland an the other one says 'RS line'.

Im not impresse by the quality of these. No OEM quality like the LCI tails.
VLAND : fitment is pretty good, trunk light seems to be pulling out a little (i think because of the foam strip to thick).
Also a lot of wires, different connectors and resistors on the back.
I'll give it a 7/10

RS lines : well i'm going to file a refund for these. Trunk light don't even fit in the F82 trunk as the inner part is to large.
Quality of the glass itself is a bit better then VLAND and no resistors or whatsever on the back of the light (there are extra cables supplied for the pre-LCI models)
As the inner don't fit a 0/10

My review of the F82 VLAND (Direct) Fauxled tails:
- Shipment was quick at only 4 or 5 business days, arrived via FedEx.
- Lights arrived blemish free.
- Feels like good quality, but all the resistors and wiring are a bit much, do yourself a favor and clean it up with zipties and heat shrink if you can.
- Fender tail light: Easy install.
- Trunk tail light: Tried cutting/moving foam near the middle locating pin and this didn't help much, you really don't want to force this step as you'll likely break the outer retaining lip if you force this. I ended up trimming down the middle locating pin and the tail light just pressed down easily. When I compare the oem and vland trunk tails, the middle locating pin isn't positioned correctly. Trimming it down / cutting it off didn't seem to have any effect on fitment. Would be interested to see how others fixed this.
- I have an LCI so initially didn't hook up the outer to the inner tails, then tried wiring it after to see if there was indeed an inner brake light, there doesn't seem to be on the F82/F83.

They are reselling aliexpress/alibaba VLAND lights.
