Suspension question about f80.
Hey guys,
Sorry for dumb questions. Its my understanding there are 2 suspensions for F80 My 2016. normal dampers not electronic. m adaptive dampers. So the normal you can install coilovers and no light and the adaptive equipped car will throw a check light or just the light next to shifter stays on? How do you know which ones you have? If you have that suspension button next to shifter then it has m adaptive. If no button then normal? Next part of my quesiton is. How long do the m adaptive struts typically last? Are people needing to switch them out after a few years or less if lowered with HAS coilover? Any clarity would be greatly appreciate. Max- |

Yes, if you have adaptive you will also have the button next to the shifter.

Adaptive dampers typically last at least as long as normal dampers, if not longer.

If you switch to coilovers or non adaptive shocks. you get that light. What's the work around that? |

How many miles are the Adaptive Dampers good for on these cars? I run ACS springs on mine and I'm afraid I may be prematurely wearing them out due to the lowered ride height.
