Agreed. A lot of the pics we've seen of cars claimed to be Tanzanite Blue were nearly as black as this. It seems odd that BMW would offer two colors soo close to each other as Priority one individual.

I really need to see TB in real life, or otherwise pics of TB next to AB. Exposure/contrast/saturation can be played with so much to emphasize something that is barely there most of the time. That's how come all the BMW press photos of YMB were much darker than in real life.

That said, these pictures look great. AB definitely pops in the sun, and pretty much is a basic black otherwise.

Perillo has a used M6 on their lot in Tanzanite, if you want to see it in person. Tanzanite is dark blue on a cloudy day, bright metallic blue on a sunny day.

Tanzanite and Azurite are not close. One is a medium dark blue with some lighter blue / aqua / purple in it. It always looks blue. Azurite is black with a lot of blue in it. Sort of like Black Sapphire with more blue, closer to Jerez Black, but still more blue.

Still, would have like to have seen a BLUE like Santorini, LeMans, etc.
