Ran these for like 10 miles, but was too tight on the rear with 295/30/20 and lowered on KW CS, so swapped back to 12mm.

You will definitely need longer bolts. Good rule of thumb is 6+ full turns threaded in and you are 100% safe.

Would these be okay on the rear of my lowered F83 with stock 18" 513M wheels and stock tire size?

These will fit 513's and lowered. I only had a problem with these on 20's and 295 width.
