Audio compression

Is there a way to disable the compressor effect on the HK audio system? When there is a quiet part in the music it turns up the volume until the music gets loud, then turns it down again. Also when there is a loud transient it ducks the volume for a little bit then comes back up. I'd
Like to disable that if possible.

Is this happening in all sources?

Yes. Well, it happens with CarPlay and satellite. I don't use fm so I'm not sure about that.

Set the speed-dependent volume setting to minimum. It is in the Tone -> Volume menu.

Thanks, I wondered if that was it but I didn't try it. It does it even if I'm not moving, but who knows. I'll give it a shot.
