F80 Alignment Settings

I have 2018 F80 that I'll be lowering on MP HAS. GC Camber Plates will also be added. I’m planning on dropping the car down to BMW recommended specs. I track my car 2-3 times a year, the local track is 90% right turns (Lime Rock) and outer tire wear has been a serious issue in the past.

I don't really DD the car anymore. Is there a recommended alignment setting that works decently on and off the track? I'd like to still be able to take road trips without worrying about camber wear. Or, should I have a street setting and then adjust the camber at the track? If so, would I get the alignment shop to "mark" my plates" for a track adjustment?

How important is corner balancing? I'm not racing, but I do like improving my lap times. Is this something that is worth the hassle?

Thank you!

Garage List
I recommend -2.5 front and -1.6 rear camber with stock toe settings for a good street/track setup. Expect a more neutral handling (less terminal understeer), so be ready to catch the rear .

I would definitely do a corner balance when installing a HAS kit, it is one key benefit they offer over standard lowering springs. BMW even specify it in their installation instructions.

I just got mine done by Soulspeed. I’m lowered Swift springs. Before the alignment, my car was all over the place. It was hard to drive, very bouncy when turning. It was so bad that I couldn’t out handle a stock G37 on a offramp. Now it drives awesome...very controlling and predictable. Even goes straight when you do pulls at WOT.

Same exact question. I like the camber recommendation. Typically on all my cars I do 1° less in the rear compared to the front. What is the F 82 BMW toe specifications front and rear? I also have the HAS kit so I will be getting a corner balance at the same time.

Here is the alignment I got from my local shop this summer car is on ohlins R&T. Car is primarily track but i always have to drive 2plus hours to get to any track so it's a hybrid. Felt fantastic on track very stable and neutral and very livable on the streets. The wheels wonder in the lane a bit but very manageable. I've got about 15 track days under my belt so I'm starting to push the car but still far from the limit.
