I own each because they don't compare.
I love driving one to work in the morning and swapping to the other at lunch.

I have to say it's much easier to control wheel spin with a supercharged car than a turbo car, but they are both a blast spinning rubber.

What's interesting is a supercharged motor has what I would call the inverse of lag, you can let of the throttle from a quick punch and the motor will continue to spin the tires for a while.
What car do you enjoy more, the M4 or Z06? Really curious about this one. Going to get rid of the M4 really soon, and it's either a G80 Competition or some sort of GM that comes next. (A10 ZL1 or C7 Z06). I drove my buddies 640RWHP ZL1 the other day and I fell in love! I can't see myself leaving BMW though 😆

I loved all my previous M3s and the stingray, the stingray was a true sports car in terms of driving dynamics and suspension was smoother than my M3's , i had adjustable suspension in the Stingray and in touring mode you could just coast in it, very comfortable drive. Similarly it became stiffer in sports and track mode and the V8 sound on WOT was exhilarating. However i didn't like the steering feel and felt it was bit light. The stingray didnt look anything less than a ferrari from a distance , C7s are the best looking imo

Last month sold the stingray and got into a M2 Competition and the main reason was playful nature of the M2, it feels nimble and faster and love the car overall, steering feel and handling is the best in its class. M2 looks pretty cool too and fit and finish of BMW interior is better than a corvette
OP, do you plan to get into another Vette anytime soon? Why did you sell it so soon and come back to a BMW? I was going to sell the M4 and try out a GM product, but I'm worried I won't enjoy it in the long term and just end up coming back to BMW anyways?

How's the drive ability of the corvette? These cars just seem unreal with the power they can make. Gotta be a blast to drive! Are you able to swing it around corners or even in a straight line if you floor it at say 40 are you scared the rear end will slide all the way around? I've ridin in a 2019 tuned z06 with 750-850 at the wheels and we weee spinning at 70! The car felt like a jet!! Amazing cars

Only concern I would have is won’t the M’s outlast a vette or other American muscle in terms of mileage/longevity?

Drove an older z06 a while back and the thing was quite the beast.

I doubt it as there are quite a few c5 and c6 variants with 200k or more on the factory engine. They last forever with minimal maintenance because of the simplicity of their engine design, now the cars surrounding the running gear will undoubtedly be rattling itself apart at that point but it will get you down the road.
