Can't wait to see how these price in the next few years. Regardless if they exceeded their "approximation" in cars produced. 803 units isn't very many at all and these should hold their value

I know that this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison, but in January 1999, 9 months before they were first delivered in the US, I put down a deposit on a S2000. Honda said that the model was going to be limited production, 5,000 units total in 2 years of production. They went on to produce the S2000 for 10 years and an estimated total of over 68,000 units. So much for exclusivity!

In 2012 I sold my S2000 after owning it for just under 13 years and bought a 2006 Z4 M Roadster in Interlagos Blue with an Extended (equivalent to Full on an M4) Black Nappa leather interior and Carbon Leather trim. BMW produced only 78 cars in that specific combination.

Good for BMW for holding their total production of the GTS fairly close to their original projection and not building more than 10 times that amount.

Nice car, and rare. Some of you guys lucky to have em! With the exchange rate what it is and almost being downgraded to junk status it was always heading toward the well heeled. I did see this at BMW though...

How does one find out how many cars BMW produced with specific options/features/colors?

They are saying they have a BMW M4 GTS Ice Racer at their BMW Ice Experience.

If they are going to use some of these for driving schools, that would easily soak up 50+ cars worldwide.
