M3/M4 vs W205 C63 AMG

I really liked the E63 AMG Estate but its just too expensive. I hear they are coming out with a C63 AMG Estate and cabriolet. Should be interesting but the lack of 6MT is putting me off

I can't remember a Benz I really liked except for being passenger in the S-Klasse but it's very impressive what they've done in F1 this year. Their engine easily upstaging the mighty Ferrari and everyone else. It's said that they've been able to convert innovation and knowledge from the AMG road car division to be so dominant this year.

That deserves respect and good things to come in terms of hybrids and turbo technology from AMG. Hopefully they'll come up with a design I can feel good in down the road, this new C-class however isn't it unfortunately.

It still isn't quite AS composed, but it was never meant to be. IMO, if you're talking about the M3, ISF, C63 and RS5, 99.999% of people will be faster in the RS5 on a back road or the track. In a straight the C63 def has it on them all with traps around 117 mph which is neck and neck with the 991S and C7 Vette.

The current "standard" C63 has 451 horsepower. The W205 will receive a healthy power bump to around 480+ hp.

The 2 really don't compare directly. The one with the V8 will likely have quite a bit more horsepower and will do well in a straight line. The new m3/m4 will go back to a 6 cylinder though with new turbo's. If it is at all a reflection of BMW's heritage and focus, it will be have much better balance and composure on the twists and turns of the road and track.

We'll see. The W205 is going to be losing weight as well (more high-strength aluminum over steel, 4.0L biturbo V8 replacing the monstrous 6.2L NA V8, CCBs will be offered for the first time on the C63, etc.).

And as I've stated before, the LCI W204 C63 is 4 seconds faster than the E9X M3 around the 'ring.

W204 C63: 8:01.00

E9X M3: 8:05.00

That said, in the hands of the average driver, I'm confident that the M3 would be the easier car to drive faster because of its lower weight and lower power output.

Regardless, once the LCI C63 debuted, the driving dynamics gap between the two cars narrowed quite a bit. While the LCI M3 received exterior/interior cosmetic tweaks, the LCI C63 received a new suspension, transmission, the first generation of the "agility select" control knob (C, S, S+, M, RS), revised cooling, and some exterior/interior cosmetic tweaks.

I don't think this looks too "boy racer." I think it's kind of a sleeper. But I admit, I'm biased.

As soon as I take over the world, chrome is the second thing I ban all together. It just makes everything look like a rapper with a vocabulary worse than mine, and somehow I stop looking at all the details after the first shiny detail catches my eye. I freely admit that this is due to my time spend in Audi dealers last spring, before that I don't think I ever noticed one way or the other. After seeing them it quickly made my hate lists top.

The side shot looks good. I may have to go so far as to say, that Merc has hired a designer with eyes. That car will age well, and that is something BMW, and audi can not claim with their later products. The words boy racer can not be linked to that, which is a shame, cause I had the time to spend on the keyboard and that always is an endless and fun thing thing to start shredding with.

The old five series has an expression I see in kids parks everyday in the faces of the botox crew. Audi has gone a different bath, which is so bad one just hopes there is a horrible crash that will take them off the roads. I have been watching the almost shine free Q7 for 3 months now, and I have found nothing likeable about that, so I think the light bulb in the garage has to go soon.

In the matters of taste, my disclaimer has been the Jack Russell earlier, but this time I will use even more powerful one, and mention that I have not had my coffee yet.

That's just as wrong as chrome overdose, maybe even worse since that just reminds one of the teenagers trying to be different and not quite making it. Haha, I was going to be a war correspondent, till I realized I really suck at talking to people in a serious manner. I think the administrations of different countries would have banned me in seconds. As for cars, it's really easy to form opinions as long as you don't know what you are talking about. there is only two ways to handle this subject, and the other is not the popular one but the informative one, and the rest of the journalists fall to the same fault as I, when insecure, come up with a joke. I'm willing to ge you my opinion on just about any vehicle on the road in the future also, as long as I can avoid facts, figures, and stay on the metric system. I swear I will never know how you guys handle the yards and such.

I would love to read the banned archive. I think that's the route I'm headed since I never stay on topic. Sad but sad.
