Can't clear D016B4 code on '18 M3

Wondering if anyone has come across this code before.

D016B4: Message error (system status electric vehicle drive, ID: SYS_ST_EVEH_DRV) - timeout

This code was discovered on a routine scan. The car is totally stock and has zero driving issues. I don’t notice any strange driving behaviors. There are no messages on iDrive and no warning lights. It points to the ICM but search of these forums suggests a broad range of potential causes—anything from wheel speed sensors to power steering module to a damper sensor. However, common to most of these is the “Chassis stabilization” message on iDrive and I have never had this.

The error appears with both BimmerLink and a higher end Foxwell scanner set up for BMWs. Neither one seems to be able to clear it. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever figure this one out?

I just discovered the code on my car and am trying to figure out what the problem is. Bone stock 2020 M4 CS here (I have done some very minor coding, however).
