headunit hard drive failure.

My '16 M4 out of the blue, the bluetooth and sat radio stopped working along with navigation. Code was B7F853 "Hard disk drive hardware error". Has anyone had this issue? And i was wondering if it would be possible to replace the hard drive with a upgraded one/ ssd. Or should i just purchase a used headunit and reprogram it. Anyone have any experience with this?

yes, can be replaced with ssd. it has to be initialized after and map has to be updated. we can solve it after you replace it with ssd.
working ssd is sandisk ssd plus 240gb.
