Took delivery of a 2018 MG M3 CP, black extended leather M3 with black 19" wheels. I asked the dealer to deliver the car with all of the shipping plastic still on the car so that I could do the new car prep myself. I drove the car directly to a friends race shop and spent two and a half days going through the interior, sealing and waxing the paint, coating the glass and applying ceramic coating to the wheels. I was amazed by the quality and condition of the paint.... it was perfect from the factory and didn't need to be polished. Unfortunately the car is now in a 8 story parking garage in Tampa so that it doesn't get damaged by hurricane Irma. I'll send pictures when this blows over.

Just ordered a 2018 MG, Silverstone Full, carbon trim, w/ black 666M wheels. Options include ZCP, ZEC, DCT, blind spot, and apple carplay. First non-manual non-everyday driver car I've ever owned... can't believe I'm going DCT, but after driving the DCT version twice I was sold. Still a tough call, but the traffic in MD and the fact that I have a bad shoulder was just enough. Anyway, your car looks fantastic, just some of the pictures that swayed me towards MG over MW. I love the depth and how mean it looks, especially with dark wheels. I thought about going MW, love it's complexity and the fact of having more contrast between the dark wheels and CF roof... but the MG looks much more aggressive and mean, more my style. As for the wheels, I've gone back-and-forth a few times on the wheels between the 19" black 437 wheels and the black 20" 666M wheels... I haven't seen the black 666Ms on a MG F80 in person, but have seen them on a black and yas blue M3. I have about another week to make changes, but will probably stick with the black 666M wheels. Worst case I could get them painted w/ more black like you did.
One thing I noticed was the F80 has more wheel gap stock than my '09 335i stock. A friend told me it may have something to do with pedestrian safety laws changing since then requiring different ride heights, but I have no idea. Anyway, I will not be able to live with the stock wheel gap long and will most definitely lower it slightly next spring after getting some miles on her, keeping it classy. Ride height on your car looks great, how it should have been stock. Time to start over researching now! |

Great pics!
Here's my MG 6MT right after getting back from a 2 hour drive from having Ceramic Pro installed. (Ceramic Pro install took 2 days) I forgot to wipe off the bugs before taking the pictures. I also had a full front, rocker panels, wheel arch and lower rear bumper installation of Xpel Ultra. |
