I'm shopping to lease my first M3 and have been reading this forum and finding a lot of great information.

I live in the bay area, and recently came across an F80 to my liking. The payment seems to be high according to the purchase price compared to some of the other deals I have seen in this forum.

Can anyone share with me a good negotiating tactic for this car.

71891.00 sale price
57% resid.
2k rebate
.00206 mf
1059.07 base payment
103.26 tax
1162.33 total payment

Thank you in advance

I am having a hard time out here on the west coast. I have received quotes offering no discount, $500, and $1,000 off of MSRP. I know we're nearing the end of production, but it looks like some folks have been able to swing some solid deals.

I'm looking for an M3 with DCT + ZCP. I have been drawn to the individual colors, but I'm also open to Alpine white.

I have asked for invoice+$500 and a buy rate money factor, but no success as of yet.

Almost ready to throw in the towel... are we at a point where we should be expecting to pay full MSRP for these cars?

My experience in the PNW, the excuse is they are M cars and will sell at MSRP. No discounts.

Hoping for better rates in September. With the holiday on Monday I'm guessing we won't have them until later in the week?

Current rates are good through Sept 3, so Tuesday we should have new rates. I wouldn't expect MY18 to get better, MY19 M4 might see a bump. BMW just doesn't give better rates this late into the year for the past year production. You might see a rebate increase but the residual will probably drop too.

Just picked up this car a week ago. It was the only car I found with a sunroof and the 18" wheels. (Options I wanted)

2018 M4
MSRP $77,445
Dealer added options: $6,752.73
(Options added are DINAN stage 2 tune and Dinan exhaust installed)

36 month lease

$2,000 total out of pocket
$942 per month including Los Angeles County Tax.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not the best time to buy an M3 for a while. First G80s will be expensive too.

My friend recently got close to 2500 off msrp so I consider that a good deal these days in LA

The best deal I was able to find for a 2018 M3 with ZCP and $77,400 MSRP was $1,090/mo including taxes with zero down for 36 months/10K miles.

I don't have the calculation details in front of me but can get them. Most dealers wouldn't discount at all or very little, and all had marked up MF. This one was using 0.00186 which was a lesser mark up than most.

Yes, not the best time to get a good deal on the M3...

Would you mind sharing what the BMW lease credit was? When I first negotiated my lease in August there was a $2000 lease credit but I'm now seeing online (Edmunds) that for the past few weeks the lease credit has increased to $3000. I haven't yet picked up my car but when talking to the sales rep he's swearing that it hasn't changed and it's still $2000.

Almost positive he said $3,000. But I don't remember. Another dealership negotiated an even better deal but wife didn't like no sunroof and competition seats. (As if she ever drives it)
That deal was $2,500 out of pocket and $849 including tax on a $79,9XX M4.

Saw the post anyway - don't forget to do a 3 year membership to BMWCCA so you can get the $500 rebate. Deal looked fine - get the damn car
