Brand New M4 GTS Still for Sale

Just saw a brand new M4 GTS still for sale at Morristown NJ.

Has a tiny scratch on the front hood, though.

https://www.morristownbmw.com/used-M...4S9C52GK578938

Price found. 90k before discounts / negotiating

Woah, that never came up in my searches. Having a full 4+3 years of warranty would be worth a slight premium over the ~$75000-$85000 range used GTS' are selling in.

I didn't see where it says that it hasn't yet had its "ticket punched" for warranty/ownership purposes, but I'm willing to take OP's word for it.

So - other than needing a back seat, there is no possible reason why any prospective M4 buyer shouldn't buy this one first.

Well, it has 15 miles.

It's brand new even though it's listed as "new".

I've seen it there for 2 years, every time I get service.

I'm thinking it can be brought down to 80k easily. Maybe even 75k. It's a 2016 for crying out loud. And it's by NO MEANS a collector's car.

Only one, no 6MT which is a killer for the likes of me. If auto is your thing though, you couldn't be more correct.

Wow! Wish I saw this before I bought mine. It's definitely new. Carfax doesn't show any owners, and the warranty starts once the owner is established.

I bought mine new in January and have the full warranty starting from my purchase date until January 2023. As you would expect, I also got the M Driver’s course/credit and included 4 year servicing. If this is new, then why would it be different?

Right. If you look at any Carfax or call the BMW and ask, the warranty/maintenance starts the day the first owner is reported. Why would it start while being parked at the dealer lot? It's a waste and the future owner gets shafted.

I just checked the warranty history on the vehicle through DCS and I confirmed the vehicle does not have an in service date and clock has not started. It would have its full warranty when purchased.

Also, there is a bit of misinformation here. A warranty can start at any point the dealer decides to start it. In Illinois, as an example, dealer loaner vehicles are never titled and don't show an owner but the warranty starts ticking on those as soon as they start going out on the road. Same with demo vehicles. BMW doesn't do this any more but they used to give money to dealers to "punch" cars and we used to have new cars sitting here with warranty ticking but also had extra money available on them for discount.

Definitely a steel at that price.

I got its brother last year for a deal. Brand new with full warranty. Morristown had 2 exact GTS. They dropped the ball and never listed them on any of the platforms. I came across it because I was shopping for a new suv for my wife and they had its brother on the show room floor.

They also have a set of Carbon GTS wheels in stock. They tried selling them to me as well. But not my look.

FYI make sure they change the oil before delivery. The car has been sitting for 3 years. I had them do that as part of my deal. I am now going in for break in service. I just hit 1k miles.

I am enjoying the car

Agreed. Wish I could justify another but I already have too many cars to insure.

What I really need is to find a height challenged tint installer so that I can get my windows tinted! Summer sun is not fun here in Texas
