AutoTecknic CS Competition Front Aero Lip - M4 Install Horizontal bracket
Hi All, looking for your assistance here...
Wondering if there is a bracket, horizontal or as a bumper insert, available to secure to this center mount point on this CS lip, for extra reinforcement to the front bumper. Thank you for your help! |

You need the vertical bar, the left and right side brackets, plus all the nuts and bolts... here is the full parts list and quantities needed. If you only want the middle one you need parts 4, 6, 7, 9.

It's finally done and I'm very pleased with the outcome....some lite fabricating/modifications and minor headaches were part of the process.
But here it is simplified: First. Front bumper has to come off... If you have a Turner Skid plate...you will have to make small cuts on the side brackets. BTW the that center bar is not needed...unless you are a serious track guy and need it for support of the lip from high speed downforces, I'm told Test fitting the front bumper belly covers. They do have to be trimmed Test fitting lip without the bumper... Front Bumper aligned, and back on; top and bottom bolts only. The belly pan and wheel well bolts were left off at this point. Notice position of brackets, under bumper Test fitted lip with bumper on. I realized a little more trimming was needed for the belly covers to fit properly. So, I test fitted on one side first, and then moved to the other. Test fitted again, and the lip was sitting too low, little gap between it and the bumper. Soooo, I used the jack to lift/bend the brackets up a bit. Test fitted a few more times until the lip sat tightly against the bumper. Lined up on. the edges and added screwed the edges corners first and worked my way towards the center and DONE~ Casualties: need to order a new set of belly pan covers and trim much less to a get a tighter fit. Small price to pay for DIY install. Last edited by bertocolon; 09-30-2021 at 07:35 AM.. |

Does anyone have a part number for just the hardware kit or do all the hardware pieces need to be ordered individually? I found two part numbers, one for just the CS lip and the second is the lip plus the hardware. Im asking if there is a part number just for the hardware package. Thanks

This is the first I've heard of this part. Is this a direct replacement for the M3 CS lip?
