how do you do that? i'm not sure what you mean.

i went to google.com/sendtocar, and removed the bmw, and re-added it if that's what you mean, and nothing.

do you have a '15 M or a later model?

Interesting. I noticed it stopped working on my M a few months back, as well.

If you are using iOS and have the BMW connected app, you can use Google Maps or Apple Maps app to send the destination to your car by sharing the destination to connected app

yes, but that doesn't help when you are at your desk or office, and working on your desktop or laptop, and having to quickly send something to the car.

it was a feature that was working before, and not it's not

I've pretty much stopped doing all of this and am relying on (and amazed by) navigation voice commands. For example, "navigate to [restaurant or store name] in [city, state]". So far, I've had a 100% hit rate. And certainly "navigate to [street name, city, state]" has worked well for a long time.

Obviously, that won't work if you're trying to enter a route with multiple stop-over points. The Google Send to Car function always worked well for that in the past.

It started working for me after they updated their server software. However, it now breaks Google Home and Alexa integration. It keeps saying "BMW have updated terms of use. Please accept the new terms of use in the BMW Connected App". Done that on the Web and on Android. Maybe it's another one of those idiotic BMW move that needs to be done on an iOS device. Fuckity...

Update - Yup. Starting the app in iOS triggers new terms of service acceptance prompt. Didn't accept it there and fire up Android app. Well, well, well, now the prompt shows up. Couldn't do anything to get that prompt before. including deleting all data and uninstalling the app. Sheesh...

Curious. What are you doing with your Alexa/Google Home with this exactly?

Primary use is to tell it to start ventilating the car when it's hot out while I'm getting ready. I could fire up the Connected app of course but kinda hard to do that and put on undies ya know

The other is locking the doors after Costco runs. Hands full, but enough to elbow door close and walk inside. Simpler to call out to Alexa to lock the doors while I walk through the house than to go in, put things down, fish out keys and press button.

Least used function is range so I can optimize the morning commute - whether I need to gas up or not on the way in.

They're really simple nice to haves but as they add more functionality they need to be more consistent in their roll out.
