I be all around man. I may go the the Montrose Thursday Car Meet tonight not 100% sure. I got one last bav sound speaker to install today. I'm already pleased with how it sounds already.

Having removed the secondary cats and put them straight back on, straight pipes make to much rasp at high rpm.

I think an x pipe configuration is important to help prevent that rasp - which quite frankly sounds bloody awful.

It's one of the reasons I won't touch the downpipe.

This engines sounds bad - and straight through decat midpipe sounds absolutely aweful.

You're mistaken. You eliminated your resonators along with your secondary cats with your custom solution.

This solution backs up to the center resonator.

I simply cut out the cats close and put short segment of straight pipe. I didn't touch the centre resonator.

How is this solution different to what I did ?

I can understand the additional resonator in the Remus midpipe - but this is non resonated right?

Just bought these midpipes, I currently have VRSF downpipes and bootmod3 installed on my 15' M4. I'll post some sound clips once I can get them installed!
