I think the F80/82 will priced just a tad bit higher than the E9x but that there will be a lot more options available to choose from and M Performance parts to buy

I know it probably won't, but I'm really hoping it makes at least 450hp

Highly doubt it would out run c7 or 991 s. But m3 is a m3. If perf figures were all about it, nobody wouldve bought e9x, since boss302 mustang could out run it on the track.
Also if you need awd for climate or extra safety, go get audi. Missing the whole point on M cars..

Does the i8 have an electrical turbo? If so I've missed that information. Any link? I thought it was just a variant of the usual twin scroll turbo used in the N55 and N20?
