Just picked this up. I’ve never owned a GT car before. 992 version makes this look pretty tame in comparison. Still amazing in isolation. Reminds me of a modern, reliable 430 Scuderia. Porsche’s on top of their game right now.

Thank you!
Turbo S is gone. I miss it. It took a few days to recalibrate my right foot to the new, tamer reality. Additionally, the 992 is simply a more comfortable, better equipped, and better appointed street driving machine that asserts its utter dominance of the road in a quiet, confident way, of which I grew quite fond. The counterpoint is that high-revving 4.0 NA engine. It's a different kind of "wow," though with similar high merit. The proper garage configuration contains both of these cars. I'm on the list for a 992.2 Turbo S. |

Dainese did it to me again.
I had been wanting a D-Air suit for years and years, but the expense held me back. Then the new Misano 3 D-Air (..airbag suit) came out. I was lusting for it! Dainese put up a 48-hour 20% off sale yesterday and I had to pull the trigger. Soooooo I guess I’ve just upgraded right along with the black/flou red Dainese Axial 2 boots I posted a few days ago. I also picked up another set of gloves: Dainese Steel Pro-In (…just one level below my Full Metal 6’s). |

Yeah, that was what always held me back. I figured it’s now or never. My first Dainese suit was a very lightly worn Gran Prêmio that was a demo suit. I purchased it at Dainese Costa Mesa. Then I moved to a Laguna Seca D1 in 2018. This Misano 3 D-Air Will be the last suit I buy.

Hey guys, I’m debating selling my T back to a Porsche dealer and getting a spring ‘25 delivery of a gts4 at msrp. Main factors for me are the the front/rear LWG glass recall on my T(not inspected yet) 50% break on or after testing it seems. Plus I miss the acceleration of higher hp…..

Hey buddy, No it’s a potential issue with the bonding of all light weight glass from 911 builds pre November’23. 50% break on or after the inspection process. It’s a Carrera 992.2 4gts. Might as well!

I would do it bro. Your concerns are the same as mine, which is why I didn’t opt for the LW glass when I ordered my car in 2021. Porsche LW glass issues have been going on for years and it doesn’t give the owner confidence.
