The black one made imported was listed at Porsche in Minnesota. I had seen the OEM wheels were painted satin black on manheim but was surprised to see it looks like the cage was pulled out and painted gloss black as well as some dark tint all the way around. Car also has eventuri intakes.
I'm going to pass on this one but anyone who loves black might enjoy it. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/9...-85957dfffc43/ |

The car had all season tires 🤢. Upgraded icon headlights, a wireless charging pad and the obvious missing roll cage. When I told the salesperson, he talked to the manager and told me "he knew and priced it appropriately" but I honestly think they were trying to save face. They really didn't know what they had on the lot. Oh and there was a ton of clicking noise coming from the steering when turning it in the parking lot. I had them put the car on a lift and didn't see any cracking of the knuckles. It was on the stock coilovers but I wonder if it was ever changed at one point. If so, that clicking was probably related to reused bolts not torqued properly Last edited by Reddevils7; 11-06-2024 at 12:16 PM.. |

On top of that, the car was tuned previously which was a turn off for me. According to that YT guy, the car ended up going for $60k.

EAG sold their GTS - took a while but good sign for the market - this had some initial track time and minor rejuvenation work I believe.

I have to say that at least for me personally I'm trying to get in around 70 for a driven example that hasn't been molested. Missed a few opportunities being stubborn but if I was going to fork up more and be in the 80's EAG would be the first people I buy from for this model. They seem to get great examples from collectors where as a lot of the other listings are whole sale cars random dealerships have acquired.
These other dealerships like Chicago motor cars, or the miami blue example seem like they're dreaming and sitting on inventory forever. |

The value these cars represent is absolutely insane. 85k for a GTS is a steal. Mid 70’s? Insanity. I picked up a P car and I can say without a doubt the GTS is punching so far above its weight, price wise, it’s not even funny. I don’t understand the market for these cars at all.

To be honest I don’t think any manufacturer will make a car this raw going forward. A fair number of GTS also got shipped to Europe ( GTS fun fact ) the European market didn’t get many allocations. I’ve seen US and Canadian spec cars for sale all over Europe when searching for my car. I don’t have a crystal ball, but I foresee these will be $130k-150k usd in the near future for a good example. For 70k-80k it’s a bargain. Keep in mind these cars Are not daily drivers they are RACE cars period. No comfort, all about raw connection and demands driver focus and attention, once you learn how to drive the car it’s extremely satisfying and rewarding pushing the water injected S55 at WOT. I have my suspension set at the recommended M track alignment / rebound and compression settings as per the GTS specific manual and it transforms the cars. I don’t think BMW had the cars set up for track when the cars were given for review in 2016. If EAG gets another one for $85k USD take it and run.
