So the F30 LCI headlights and the F80 LCI 2.0 headlights are different? :

Nah...you've got to zen all of this LCI stuff after a while. Buy the car when it suits you. There are always going to be tweaks until the new model comes out.

It looked like in the video that it was a 1/2 leather option. The driver side looked like it had leather and the stitching while the passenger side didn't.

I'd be more curious if they did any suspension tuning and MDM programming changes.

Edit: Nevermind, I rewatched the video and I just missed the stitching on the passenger side. It is just full leather equipped cars.

European models don't have the reflector on the front bumper.

I think new LED headlights look much better than current LED headlights. If I wasn't leasing, I would retrofit them.

The brown color is Smoked Topaz Metallic (X12)

I loved the angled look of the 4 series concept coupe angel eyes, so this redesign looks good to me as far as the lights goes. If the oss wasn't $1200 maybe...

They were different to begin with. They share the F32 lights

Yep, and MY2019 brings the G20 series, so even "newer" lights, more tech features, etc. Meaning the 4er will be dated, in comparison to the new 3er.

Very upset about this.... How many LCI iterations should there be in a M generation?!! I waited for the LCI and didn't order till 2017 and now this! Unbelievable

Classic BMW move. Pulling the rug out from under loyal early adopters and not so early LCI adopters. They are so random in their approach. Very annoying.

You're joking, right? There is already going to be many F80 LCI owners who are going to to be mad that there are new LEDs on the 2018 model. Think of number of strokes that would occur if BMW put the digital dash in...consider not offering the digital dash a medical intervention, then. (Although, I for one still want analogue gauges...and a manual transmission. I'll go back to my cave now.)

I read this as "fake stitching for the non-leather dash"

I'm really not seeing much difference in the front (in terms of any face lift) compared to the 2017 models...

I do like those headlights but they don't help laptimes so I'm content with my LCI v1.0 lol

I'd make a decent sized wager that the new dashes will be in the 2019 M3/4s.

Yes. Just like the original F80 headlights were different from the original F30 headlights.

Why? Because, the F80's front end is not based on the F30's. Instead it shares its front end with the F82, which is naturally derived from the F32.
