The 982 number includes the 30 Jahre Edition cars (150 of them). Other than that, I don't think there were any special editions. |

I just downloaded buildsheet off BMW's ASAP website for every single F80 and extrapolate data from that.
Thank you for pointing it out. 20 of them were built in Fashion Grey. |

I’m curious as well what it looks like for the M2. I bet it is closer to an even split between MT and DCT. |

Ah okay. I figured BMW put in their last F80 push, the amount of individual M3 they produced and gave to dealerships. Those numbers put in but maybe not? It's okay though. I know which # mine was from Maria hehe.

Hopefully this means manual US owners will stop calling their cars "rare".

Maria told me I was #6 on the M3 side for my color. #18 (or 17 I think) combined with the M4.
I asked her while my car was in production.

Sadly I don't have the email anymore but I was not above #10 for certain on the M3 side unless she separated the LCI models and non-LCI models. I am also certain that I wasn't #20 combined. Kinda wish I kept the email... I got my car in November 2017, went into production start of September 2017. I remember this because I emailed Maria then after hearing absolutely nothing from the dealership I ordered it from. I got very tired of waiting so I went directly to BMW NA and Maria to find out what is going on. She replied after being on vacation that, my car literally went into production just as she was emailing me back. Then i asked her about my # and I could have swear I was 6. Since I added that into my info a year ago when my M3 went into production and was finished lol. P.S. Then again, I could be remembering incorrectly because it's been a year.

Myz, Peter's front plate is in front of me right now. I managed to unpack everything unimportant a day before yesterday so I found that one. Now all I need is a car again, at some point this act of stubbornness has to end, I think.

We even had a poll to see how right the name was. Turns out that the dentists are the most colourful folks or this forum.

According to the color chart, there are absolutely no San Marino Blue’s in the US? And that I am only 1 of 2 F80’s, LCI, Comp, in Canada?
That can’t be right, can it? |

Remember, most of the world got SMB as a standard M3/M4 color in conjunction with it becoming available for the M3/M4 CS. The US did not. |
