Agree, there is such a thing as too much carbon fiber. OEM+ is the way to go, the car will age beautifully without the incredible amount of CF

Ty
I agree with you on that oem+ is great but I’m not going for a stock look. Just doing a “carbon build” hence the title. Something different even though everyone here hates it. But hey what are forums for? ☺️ I’m just using this as a log of my build. I have all the original parts to slap back on it when I get bored. In the end it’s something I like right now. You can keep your car as stock as you like and I’ll support it too. . Thank you For the comment Last edited by Jimmyjamesphan; 10-10-2021 at 04:57 PM.. |

Saw your call at Big SoCal Euro last weekend, and hoped to say hey.
Big kudos on all the work you've put in to that car! You had numerous parts (including those carbon fenders) i've never seen before in person, which was very cool. Also - just curious, what did you happen to do with the stock front fenders?

The crystal idrive and start buttons look neat, but honestly the whole car looks like it's sponsored by eBay. I can appreciate the time and money that must have gone into it, but this looks like something you'd see in a high school parking lot after a Fast & Furious movie came out - the mods just look cheap and low quality regardless if they are or not.

There’s a bunch of shops out there that sells these keys for the f8x platform now. I actually got the X5m key and instead of paying the dealership a lot of money to program the key. I went to a repair phone shop and had them swap over the chip for 20 dollars. |
