FS: M3 CS San Marino Blue with CCBs - Only 3K Miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 85,950.00

Item Interest
This 2018 M3 CS is in pristine/excellent collector condition with only 3,399 miles and is one of the final F80 generation M3's produced. If you missed your chance to get the ultimate F80 M3, here's your chance! It is one of only 700 M3 CS's brought to North America, with a very rare spec including San Marino Blue metallic exterior with M Carbon Ceramic brakes. Purchased in Nov 2018, but due to the pandemic, it was stored, covered, and rarely driven (a literal Sunday driver). This car is "like new" and literally still has new car smell when you open the door, it's your closest chance to getting a practically "new" F80 M3 CS. Original MSRP $110K.

This car is still under the original factory warranty. It was purchased with the BMW Platinum extended 7 year warranty, providing coverage up to 75K miles or 7 years through November 2025. No accidents, it previously had a minor cosmetic rock or pebble chip repaired on the lower front splitter.

Clean title in hand, located in Houston, TX.
Original Window Sticker included with service records.
VIN: WBS8M9C55J5L71641

Exterior: San Marino Blue Metallic
Interior: Black/Silverstone Bi-Color Leather

Other details:

Completely stock.

M Carbon Ceramic Brakes, a $8,150 option.

M Sport Exhaust.

DCT - Dual Clutch Transmission.

Apple CarPlay (wide-screen enabled).

A righteous gemstone. SMB CSs with the CCBs are super rare too.

SMB were the highest produced CS’s (200+), but only 21 with the CCB.

Nice spec and low miles! Should be posted on BaT.

I’d also check in with Enthusiast Auto Group about buying it.

I’m guessing the center of that backseat had a car seat without a protector? Willl the creases come out?

To you, yes. To the right buyer, no.

It’s a rare and desirable F80 CS. Get it in front of the right audience and I am sure he will get what he’s looking for.

Just recently an AW and SMB sold in the $70’s and $80’s respectively.

GL to the seller!

I'm shocked at the low mileage! I don't think I would have enough self control to hardly drive this beast for the last 6 years. Impressive.

I don't know about this. EAG is a hype machine that will purchase a car low and then mark it up 45%, exorbitant pricing. I don't know who benefits from EAG's business model other than EAG.

Idk much about them but I assume they profit off of their sales and have some costs of their own. No clue if they pay a fair price before re-listing.

It's great that you came down a couple thousand. I second the previous suggestion about BaT. Why not let the market speak?

I don't know if you will get what you're wanting on BaT but at least you'll know what it's really worth.

Do you have any photos of the accident and damage that was reported and shows on the CarFax?

Agreed. No matter how minor the rock or pebble chip was, you should provide some supporting pictures or documents. Especially at your asking price.

Sadly, he isn't the first nor will he be the last seller to omit pertinent damage history.

and total silence from OG since then haha. This is G80 pricing ! Even with 20k less at 65k USD is still too much for a car with not a clean carfax.

True, but if you're paying what they're asking, you can easily get into a P car. Why pay over MSRP for low mileage M car when you can get a brand new Porsche for same price or less?

Unless you're infinitely rich and want to re-live the days gone by??

Hey clearly said no accidents “just a rock chip that was repaired” that wouldn’t show up on the carfax

Meh, if it really was just a rock chip that was repaired and he's asking $85k, he should have taken a photo and have documentation for that repair, as mentioned previously.

Otherwise you're rolling the dice with a Carfax damage report.

It's been on sale almost 4 months. It may take another 4 months, or more, before this sells.

The number of people in the market for a six year old M3 with a Carfax damage report at this asking price is vanishingly small.

If seller was serious about getting top dollar, he would put it up on BaT or C&B. Actually, don't put it on C&B. Those guys are assholes.
