FS: BMW M135i

Thought I'd try my luck on here. Recently purchased a F82 M4 and would like to sell my M135i but not getting any luck on dubizzle so far. It's a great car with 0 issues and well taken care of, have a look! I am based in Dubai.

Cheers

If you don't mind me asking. How can one get away with 50% tint and especially during registration or can you get a permit for that?

Good luck with the sale

They are usually lenient with tint when the car is registered in a ladies name, especially an Arab lady. They'll probably give trouble to expats but to us Arabs they are chilled.

The new laws that have just come out have actually raised the limit from 30% to 50%, so legally speaking it's sound now.

That's what the lady at the BMW Showroom in Sheikh Zayed Road told me. I thought she was just lying to try to sell me some window tint because when I googled it, couldn't find anything confirming this!

Now you mention it as well! that's awesome man! who told you about this!

It's at the bottom.

But man, some of those new rules are scary! Reckless driving = 3 month impound and 23 black points!!!!

Yup that's it. One that I don't understand is the "Exceeding maximum speed limit by not more than 20km/hr - Dh 300 fine". It seems clear but the speed cameras don't flash until you are 21kph over? How would they possibly be able to fine you going say 119 in a 100 zone? I don't get it!

here is how it works.

Let's say the speed limit is 100 KM/H.

You have a grace limit of another 20 KM/H

So if you are driving at 119KMH it's fine you won't be flashed.

If you are driving at 121 - 122 KM/H, you will be flashed with a fine of exceeding speed limit by 20-30 KMh. They don't consider the speed limit grace once you hit the flashing limit, the total of what you were over speeding over the actual speed limit is registered not in addition to the grace limit

But then what's the point of having a fine for "exceeding the speed limit by not more than 20kph?" With the grace limit it means that fine will literally never be applied!

the grace is a grace, if someone is not paying attention and exceeds the speed limit by a few KMs but once you cross that grace speed, they look at the overall speed which you were going above the actual speed limit.
