That's a pretty high payment for a CS. But I hear the CS inventory is dwindling, so dealers aren't willing to let them go so easily.

I've shopped around a bit. I'm waiting on 2 other quotes before I make any decision.

I noticed that and reached out to them but I haven't heard back at yet. South Austin reached out first.

Hey Chris,
Saw you PM me, but this is just as easy to respond. Your 21.16% discount is solid, and if you were in any other state that doesn't tax the entire car upfront on a lease, this would make for a base monthly $750 car w/MSD, first month, acq, and TTL fees paid upfront. Unfortunately, TX leases suck! GL

Thanks for the update and info. New to the forum and saw you had quite a bit of experience leasing these vehicles with exceptional deals. This would be a long term lease/purchase and I think the discount and residual would work out in the long run. My X5 lease is almost done and will be getting a 340 as a daily. I think in 3 years these should at least be worth the 60K I'd have to purchase it for. Just my thoughts but time will tell. Enjoy yours in great health!!!

CS has been out for awhile now. I feel like everyone has one. OP, you can do much better.

Everyone is going to tell you it's a high payment from that pic you provided bc you are leaving out the details...21% off is solid, but it sounds like you are doing a balloon payment, and/or not accounting for the TX taxes either way (lease/finance)?? If this is a straight lease, then accept only the buy rate and a reasonable doc fee. Also, if there is any non-factory aftermarket options (tint, "sealant", blah, blah) check how they residualized them. Again, 21% off would be a $750 base monthly with fees/MSD upfront for a standard 36/10k lease in any state that taxes the monthly base payment.

Texas leases suck because you have to pay taxes on the entire price of the car up front. I would just buy the car with that discount with a low APR.

Try leasing the car using a family or friends address where tax isn't paid upfront. Should be doable to avoid that ridiculous lease payment for a CS.

I'm almost done with my current leases and bmw offers discounts to buy the cars. I'd imagine this one would have some good discount ~$5k at the end. So $55k for a car like this one may not be bad subject to the market. Beauty of lease you can always return it

calculator link

There is about $2000 left in the deal

$1050/month with $3000 due would be solid for a remaining 2020
