F80 DCT Shift Knob Imperfection. Warranty?

Hello, guys.

I have noticed this issue since I got my new F80.

It is only 2500 miles now.

I though it's normal.
However, I realize it is an issue after my friend told me that is not normal.

As the video showing, the shift knob has a gap.

Just wonder if any has the same problem here.

Would the dealer replace it under warranty?

Remove the carbon trim and make sure that all the bolts of the gear selector switch are torqued at 3.3 Nm. I believe that there are 4 bolts in each corner of the gear selector. To remove the trim you can use a plastic card or some other prying tool and lift the trim upwards.

Do you mean the bolts that pic I attach below?
I think that small moving gap is from the GREEN arrow. Isn't it?
I just wonder if this is normal or not.
Does yours have the same little gap as mine?

Ha ha ha . I even look for it if we really have this type of category
Is it the normal situation? Do you have the same moving gap as mine?

I thought I saw in the video the black plastic part moving. That there is some play in the gear selector is normal. If you don’t think it should take it to the dealer.

Sorry about that, I just notice that my another e92 M3 does not have the same issue like this, just wondering if it is normal.
