So we recently installed the Mode Carbon lip and I must say, the thing is beautiful. My biggest concern was that It was going to not be noticeable enough and it will look too OEM, but I was wrong, in photos this lil doesn't do justice. The lines follow the bumper perfectly, and it's just pulled out enough for you to see the exposed carbon from top view. My favorite part is that it doesn't really hurt your clearance up front which ultimately is the best thing for a lowered car!

We have a few in stock, let us know if you are interested!

Stay tuned for the full shoot as well

I recently had nothing to do with an installation of this lip ( my kiddo stole my tools, I don't know the words for the right tools, and I kind of liked it done right for once in my life so me out of the work force was the way), and here is what I have the say about the appearance.

It stayed on on my not lowered car the first day.

Everyone of the car geeks I've seen, have taken photos of this. I don't go around my car when people are in their "omg" zone, just because then I get a shitload of questions about stuff they know already, just to see if I know them. They all drool on the lip though.

I agree, lookswise it makes the AY look cool from the front. guys will be adding the extra parts higher with the cf thingies (yes, I know, the right word again), but I won't, mine looks so damn goooood now, without extras, just purified gold.

Anyone with an AY needs three things, a lip to hide the weakness of the front. even a sun doesn't shine as bright if no contrast is added.

a spoiler. Since August, I have had the pleasure of always trying to park mine so, that I could look at him without noticing the M3 got the fenders, and I got the girly ass.

Diffuser. I had the Vorsteiner as my screensaver for a long time, and I had one in order also, but thank Coffee, delivery time and SEMA collided, and less became more again. Sure, it needs one, but when I ordered mine, I wasn't looking at it as a baggage, I was just drooling on a tiny detail.

The thing with these mods is, that each and everyone of us know, if they are there. We also after seeing one without them know what the heck is missing. After seeing this photo, go look at the original ones. one is lacking, one is not.

As an almost funny story, I will share this.

Tonight I was completely worn out as I pulled into my garage. My tiny man had handled my shoe (not for driving variety) pile, and gotten one on my way. I didn't see it while getting in, I was too worried about not killing the lawn. but I heard the heel snap.

Now, as a female, my first thought (well, after the did I just drive over my son) should have been did I drive over something important.

Mine was: If the lip was hurt, scratched, killed, or if I have to take it off because of this, NO more heels(any female can recall that sound of one snapping, it's the same as a skull cracking) for me.

Yes, you can see them in any color as the thing to add. black really does not do right for this mod in photos, since anyone of us who has owned a black car will just see the minions polishing it for hours just to see it clean for 3 minutes.

still, looking good TAG. Really good.

Fricken Lups posts make me every single time.

Would you mind telling me where are you originally from, so I know what kind of accent my brain should be adding in when reading your diatribes? I'm somehow reading all your posts with a Russian accent and I have no idea why

I'm a Finn, but my accent is a fucked up mix. People here blame Aussies for me, England also. I never correct them. Who the hell would want people picturing their country as a nesting place of the likes of me?

I saw an ay without a lip yesterday, and the guy looked like a traditional m driver, so I walked away without telling him he's doing it wrong. Clearly this mod is something that after seeing it you cant be without.
