Motiv ReFlex - DME Integrated Controller PI,Meth,Flex, etc...
Heard about this in the pipeline a month or so ago and they released this product last week. Looks way better than the Split Sec AIC and offers a lot of options for flash tuning integration.
This is an actual, ready and tested solution from Motiv. Don't be confused by the recent basic canboard that another company announced in development which was clearly in response to Motiv reaching out prior to release to develop integrations. IMO that company should focus on flash tune development and integration rather than raining on Motiv's release like they did last week. Either way I'm glad Motiv has a solution because the other company is very slow with development...will likely be waiting a year or two for them at the rate they've been developing Flexfuel. Other positive news is that Ecutek already has the functionality to integrate the Motiv ReFlex and I hear that the latest Ecutek Racerom update with S55 Anti-lag is nearing release...already available on the B58. Also judging by the Motiv posts, it's already integrated with the MHD software. So the top two reasons I see for use: -Replace an AIC and Meth controller ( you'll need a PWM SSR to repeat the signal to your meth pump, the ReFlex drivers are rated at 2amps conservatively so they cant be used directly on the pump) Also no need for a hobbswitch activation on secondary LPFP's. **Keep in mind the AIC doesn't scale injection based on Ethanol Content so this is a big win for Motiv and Flex Fuel cars since it can be configured to scale** -Replace a Zeitronix Canbus device to communicate flex fuel content to the DME. They offer a flying lead harness for this on their webstore as well. The operation of a mac solenoid for wastegate control is also a pretty awesome feature for those who have single turbo setups. N55's will definitely like the addition of a low pressure fuel sensor. great job Motiv

So this would be used instead of Split-Second pi controller? And would be able to integrate with bm3 cars?

This can absolutely integrate with any flash tuning setup such as BM3...it will require BM3 to set it up in their software first. You'll have to communicate with BM3 to see if they'll offer that integration.

Does anyone have any upgraded turbo builds running this? I was about to get the split second aic to control my 750 cc port injection (EOS intake manifold) but saw this and it sounds like the canbus integration resolves the issues of the “slow reacting” aic controllers along with many other capabilities. I’m a little hesitant to get this just because it’s so new to the market.

I'm debating if I should add direct Port Meth Injection and whether to use Torqbyte or ReFlex controller on 91 tune as I want to stay off E for the near future due to all injector failures noted on forum. Can I use a direct port kit/injectors for meth like PFS or fuel it kit and what injector sizes should I use? Planning on ECUTEK tune.
Looking for feedback whether + or -, did some forum reading on pre/post IC meth injection but to me, it doesn't yield the best results. I've yet to discuss my idea with a tuner but wanted to hear users feedback for real world experience first. Thanks in advance.

I'm on the fence for this. when ordering the controller, does it come with the necessary wiring for port injection? or is that something that I'd have to make on my own since I dont see anything on their site.
or am I just blind?

I've been thinking about trying to build a GTS style water injection system.
Injecting only water and incorporating failsafes if the pump dies or the water runs out. While the water works, it should activate extra boost/timing or whatever the GTS does. If the water runs out or stops working, it would go back to stock. I'm only interested in top end power and have zero interest in midrange torque. I seem to be in a niche of 1, but this looks promising if it can integrate with the DME

I got mine today and I must say my ignorance to wiring is absolutely showing at this point. Would any of you gentlemen make a DIY lol?

I am too looking for Motiv Re|Flex + BM3 support if anyone knows. I've contacted both BM3 and Motiv and just waiting for a response. My lack of being able to find anything suggests it's not and MHD seems to be the 'parallel' BM3 alternative but I've actually really grown fond of BM3 especially with the latest updates...

I sent a note to Motiv & BM3 just waiting response. I do have a PI configuration with Flex fuel I just was hoping to stick with a platform I'm familiar with. Honestly I'll probably go with MHD before Ecutek since it's very parallel to BM3 in terms of end user operability.

I was the first S55 to have the Motiv Reflex running. It was installed on my M4 with a fresh Billy Mason built motor and Bend Calibration (ECUTEK) tossing in all the sauce. It simply works. Jake and Chris are top notch and run an amazing operation with the team they have. It is a no brainer to upgrade over the AI6.
Given that i was the first S55 to have it installed and running, I'm pretty sure some of the tuners over at ECUTEK have a slight advantage over BM3 tuners since it was first running on ECUTEK for the S55 platform. If you have any doubts on the product, take a look at all of the MK5's running it. The graphic design on the unit is worth swapping to it versus the AI6

PTF said they "couldn't confirm" that this would all work. Maybe some of it's due to a knowledge gap and not exactly knowing how all of these work together in tandem, but what did you do exactly for this setup?
