Reason being is you get ripped off and end up paying more for something when you buy it twice. But anyway, your car, your money, your choice...

I've bought and sold 6 other times on this forum and 50+ times on other forums; this is the first time I've ever had an issue. One asshat got me for a minute, I got my money back, I learned a lesson. Money isn't an issue, I would have taken my lump and my lesson learned and moved on.

As soon he stopped responding I immediately emailed Venmo, they jumped in and returned the transaction. I am assuming he didn't do an instant transfer and Venmo was able to reverse it. They could also see he blocked me etc. I sent screenshots of our texts in the email as well.
