If you only have one car and may occasionally get caught out in the rain, I wouldn't advise on the NT01. They're not great in the rain when new, let alone after they turn into slicks after a few days on track. That is, unless you enjoy constant hydroplaning.
If you have a rain day mode of transportation, NT01s are great HPDE tires. Otherwise I would vote for RE71s.

Just did Thompson Speedway with my Supercar3 220tw tires and they are pretty good. Replaced my Ad08r with them and grip feels similar. They get just as sticky when hot as some of the fast 200tw tires.

Other than that, love the tires so far. |

I've been wondering the same thing... I'm on NT01 305/35 with the same wheel specs. I have a little room to move out if I needed to add some small spacers. I won't need new tires for another month or so though.

I can't speak to the RT660, but reportedly the AR-1 315/30/18 fits fine on that wheel with no spacer in the rear. However, it apparently runs a bit narrow for its size.

I've run both AR-1 and CR-1's in 315/30/18 on same spec rims without any issues. The CR-1's are another great option for a 200tw tire

i'm running a 19x11ET37 rim right now with RE71R 305/30/19 and zero issues but the tire diameter is 26.2". How lowered are you? |

they have limited sizes in 305/35/18 - NT01 and R888R are your only choices. If you want a 200TW tire you have to move up to a 315/30/18 where you can run CR1, A052, and RT660.

Wow, that video made me happy that I got the RT660s. Taking them to NJMP Lightning tomorrow will be curious what times I post. Running a Garmin Catalyst now. For some reason Harry's lap timer never worked properly at Lightning for me, so I won't have any PS4S vs. RT660 times to compare.
Regarding the previous question about how low I am, I am fairly low on B16D coils with zero wheel gap. I do believe that my rubbing is from how tall the tire is. The rubbing I had was on the inner wheel-well protector, on the outer fender side. Oddly enough I'm not noticing the rubbing anymore. I think whatever minor interference there was must've worn off. I got a head gun ready to re-shape it and everything but not sure if I even need to now. |

FWIW i'm moving forward with a set of A052 in 265/35/18+295/30/18. I heard the A052s run pretty wide.
I'm told faster than an RE71R, but not as stiff sidewall so steering response won't be as good. I'm hoping since the profile is much lower that it won't be as much of a concern. I heard Nankang CR-1 is pretty good, but they don't have a 295/30/18 or 305/30/18, would have to move up to 315/30/18. AR-1 would of been my backup choice. Here's another good video about 200TW tires. |

Overall the day went great. These tires like to be around 34-35 psi while hot. Start too low, and if they only hit 32, they are a bit squishy. 36 and up they can start to get a little slick. My best time of the day was 15.9, but my Garmin catalyst was saying optimal/segment time of 14.8. The problem was it was so damn hot out that my car got slower and slower as the day went on. Would have liked to have logged a lap in the 14s but every session my car felt a little slower and my top speeds on the straight would go down... not to mention I think I was overheating even more than my car. Looking forward to the next event! Photos for reference. One pic from lightning the other from Palmer. They were gloss black before they got covered in brake dust lol. |
