Long Island F8X Meet

I am happy to say todays meet was a complete success. I was blown away by the amount of people there.

This morning (Sunday, Dec. 21) we met in Oyster Bay in LI. The turnout, originally expected to be about 10-15 cars ended up being about 40-50 cars. We had 15 F8Xs show up. Such a great turnout. We had F83, F82, and F80s, some E9Xs, some F10s, as well as an e39 and an e60. We also had a couple GTRs and 507 C63 crash the party.

I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of F8X owners as well as hear a meistershaft and eisenmann exhaust on the cars. A lot of cars were sporting the front lip or cf splitters.

A bunch of us went for a drive after the meet and had an absolute blast. We really turned some heads driving through Oyster Bay.

Great pics! Sorry I couldn't be there--although I was in Jericho near the Whole Foods at around 9am this morning and saw what I thought was another Mineral Grey F8x as I was turning the corner and I waved to them--was that you??

What fun that must have been!! What were your thoughts on the exhausts and their differences?

That's the mode carbon car. Pretty sure it's OEM gts wheels with spacers 18 front 5 rear

Man, those tow hook license plates look terrible...but necessary evil in these parts...think it's because the tow hook sits so high on the bumper.

Sooo many stunning beasts, I also agree that the YMB F80 could use a bigger spacer up front. Thanks for sharing the pics!
