S54 valve adjustments are a cake DYI project.... Virtually free. E46 M3 is very cheap to run if you DIY the general maintenance

Not sure about $10K, but likely possible if the car has been sitting. I was offered a $77K 2019 M4 for $70K with ZERO negotiation, so...

Honestly, if I wasn't a die-hard MT fan, I'd pick up an M3/4 CS. Crazy deals going on.

Yes you can get a new one for 20k off. I mentioned earlier, but Braman had a one owner with 97 miles that sold for about 85 and had a 125k sticker on an m4 CS. They are just sitting - a lot like the M4 GTS which new ones are still out there.
