There's a thing called physics, you ever thought about the weight (ex. weight to power ratio)?
Are saying this M3 will be slower?
What is your point?

I'm very skeptical on that 415 number. From the TQ to HP ratio on a near 8000rpm motor... It doesn't compute. Also when you look at the rest of the market segment.... 415hp regardless of the marginal final expected weight savings would make this thing uncompetitive.

I don't like this at all ... looks like my Golden Retriever with his tail up in the air just after she made her business ... anyway that's what I think. I'm sure the aftermarket fellows already designing something to cover up the ugly site between the pipes.

Drivers following this very expensive car will say .... look at that ... how can they let this happen to such a nice car.

I guess the F80 will have the F82's headlights, like the E90 had the E92's headlights.

Isn't that muffler made by akrapovic? It looks to be two canisters melded together with the aerodynamic vanes to help guide flow from the lsd area... It does look odd

I am sure they are keeping the standard F8x w lower HP rating because a performance or comp kit will be coming out soon and then we may actually see a track version or something along those lines. I am waiting out for the close to 500 hp version.

Looks like it shares the front end with the M4, just like the E90 and E92 M3 sedan and coupe. Or am I mistaken? The kidney grill seems identical.

Double bubble, sounds like chewing gum. It's going to be one sweet ride.

I doubt it, the E90 M3 got the E92's front end because the V8 wouldn't fit in the E90. This time, there's no reason to believe that the turbocharged inline 6 wouldn't fit in the larger F30.

I wasn't a fan of the E92 front end on both the E90 and E92 M3s. I'm pretty much set on an F80 M3 and I hope the sedan and coupe look different from the front but I don't really care either way. More importantly, I hope the M3/M4 get upgraded at the facelift instead of sticking with the old style headlights like the E9x M3 did.

No matter how hard I try, I just don't like the front end of these new 3 series. The gap between the front nose and the hood is absolutely hideous. Other angles of the car are fine, but man!!! I hate that nose!!

I really don't like rear of the car... Lights look out of place and too tame for an m.
I didn't expect the new m3/4 to have big power as it would hurt m5/m6 sales.

Looks like it's time for a p-car.

P.S. Cant wait for the first ess m3 vs m4 vids

Why has it taken so long for BMW to pull the wraps on the M3? It's been 1 1/2 years since the current 3 series was unveiled. I thought the M versions always came a year after the the initial debut. Is BMW waiting to debut the M3/M4 side by side?
