Not feeling the color pallet BMW is offering. Imperial blue would have been nice alternative to the bright blue. A true silver and red as well should have been a choice.

There is always individual.

These are dealer launch colors/options. Whatever happened to the green paint that was confirmed? I bet there are more (or less) colors coming. Seeing the orange interior is a big disappointment IMO. Fox red is so much better. Also, I can't believe they would offer parking assistant on an M3. That's just sad. If you can't parallel park, you can't drive an M car.

The F8x will be very fun to see when they start hitting the streets. I'll definitely be headed to my dealer to check it out when it arrives.

Agreed. Polar Silver would have been a nice color option.

As for the red, I suppose BMW thinks that Sakhir Orange is close enough. But a return to Brilliant Red or Hellrot would have been nice.

It's ironic that the F82 in the header of this forum is red. Either a poor choice of color from the 'ol Photoshop color wheel, or the moderators know something about the F82 color options that we don't.

Lastly, Jason mentioned that there would be a green offered on the F8X, but I didn't see it on that list. I wonder if that means the list is incomplete (unlikely) or that it's exclusive to the F82.

So is it safe to say that dealers will get these "demo cars" prior to the polls being opened for official ordering or will they get their cars at the same time that first deliveries are being made?

Agreed. I think Navi is a must in all BMWs now, none of this optional crap anymore. BMW ConnectedDrive is part of the motto now, they were getting too much pressure from cheap competitors offering awesome interiors who always had a digital display. BMW needs a nice center stack. And next thing on the list, I hope, is a fully digital instrument cluster. #ThereISaidIt

I wonder about that yellow colour, have we seen that before?
It's supposedly very similar to the color we've already seen on the M4

Think the decision I'll struggle with the most will be between 6MT and M-DCT. I love rowing my own gears, but the reality is that the new transmissions are so quick and precise that there's no sense anymore. I just love being that involved.

Confusing to me, cuz nothing at COTA is yellow? Unless its associated with Livestrong or something, but that would be just weird.

...so the question begs, why yellow for Austin?

Ugh... not a fan of how orange Sakhir Orange is (I prefer red). Looks like my next best option is the cloth, but I want most of the exec package options.

Mineral Grey on Full Black w/CF Trim it is then.

Thought the same thing. The HUD is the only thing I want out of the ZEC. Would rather not pay $3500 for it.

Guys, these are just the packages available for launch / demo cars. It is NOT going to be reflective of ALL options, packages, or stand alone.

Really happy you can order the wheels in black! Saves me the time and money to get them powder coated.

Yea it even says in the first post that the list may not be all-inclusive of everything the customer cars will get.

The bright colors are fun but the novelty wears off quickly. I'd get tired of Austin, Sakhir or Yas really fast. We love our Imperial Blue, get compliments all the time from people. I don't want a hot black interior ever again and since there is no Fox Red interior, it really limits my personal choices. My preference would be either Imola Red or Imperial Blue over beige or Titanium Silver over Fox Red. Given the $$ for Individual colors, here's my build if I were to order today. But in actuality, I'll be ordering the convertible version most likely.

300- Alpine White
LKJR- Extended Merino Beige
ZMT- Manual Tranny (Would consider DCT if no cost option but wouldn't pay more for it)
322- Comfort access (should be standard in a car of this price)
6NS- Enhanced USB/BT
688- HK (+/- on this one)
610- HUD Love this feature on my F30
3AG- Rear View Camera (see 610)
50L- Top & Side View (see 3AG)
248- Heated steering wheel (didn't get this on my F30 and my wife won't let me forget it)
2VF- Adaptive M Suspension (+/-, will have to drive one with/without to be sure)

not even gonna bother specing it to my liking now because from how I remember the m6 demo dealer order guide compared to the full order guide its pointless cause this is only like 65% of the options and what not
