Iam getting fogging on front lights but, it never goes away and there is water bubbles inside....
Its both sides...should be covered by warranty under condensation right? |

Not normal unless you had some aftermaket halos done to your lights... and the seal wasnt done correctly.

Might just be a defect in the headlight seal. I'd take it in to your local BMW service center. They should replace/fix under warranty.

NOT normal. Moisture in head or taillights can lead to premature failure of components within them The sooner its resolved the better.

check what BMW considers normal or not... some other posters have this and yours is very minor and should disappear in its own. Save yourself a trip to the dealer...

OP says it "never goes away." If that is the case, definitely abnormal unless you are using a pressure hose to wash the car on a regular basis. How long has the condensation been present?

I think "never goes away" implies longer than a week in the middle of winter in Vancouver Canada...

Here is what the owner's manual says:
Headlight glass Condensation can form on the inside of the external lights in cool or humid weather. When driving with the light switched on, the condensation evaporates after a short time. The headlight glass does not need to be changed. If the headlights do not dim despite driving with the light switched on, increasing humidity forms, e. g. water droplets in the light, have the service center check this.

Some mild fogging is normal, but heavy droplets (as seen in your pictures) are not. Have it checked out. My X5 is at the dealer for this exact issue.

So just an an FYI to those in this thread, Mine had some, not major I would say, but certainly fogging up. I took it in to my SA who said they would replace some gaskets surrounding the headlights. Gaskets replaced make the issue worse....now i'm getting beads of water building up inside the lights which DO NOT dissipate despite having the tech tell me to drive with my high beams on (which I did) which should theoretically heat the glass to prevent this. So getting some new lights courtesy of BMW. But that's just my .02.

I'm assuming people that say it's not normal never saw the E6x and the e9x generations. I have not seen this issue on the F3x's.

Probably a gasket/seal damaged and water seeped inside. Best bet is let your dealer check it out.

I had this issue happen twice when I first picked up the car and it never happened again so far (almost a year). I brought it up to the dealer and they didn't do much for me because they couldn't replicate the issue. The two times it did happen it was a very humid day, and within minutes of turning on the headlights they cleared. Also if you checked the owners manual some condensation is normal as stated, and if it doesn't disappear up after the lights are turned on then you have a issue.
