Dumb question or not

Hey guys I'm picking up a m3cs soon and was wondering if can turn in my comp pack car without the zcp exhaust? I have a regular exhaust from my previous m4 that i can put on it. I also have the MPE but I'm saving that for the CS. Don't feel like giving BMW a free MPE.

I think it depends on the situation, are you trading in a lease? If you're trading in or returning a lease that came with an MPE you'll probably have to pay. I ran into a similar situation with my CCB on my old F80

The car didn't come with the MPE. I bought it afterwards. I'm just trying to hold on to the MPE if I can't get a zcp exhaust before February 5th

What happened to your old ZCP exhaust? Maybe you get get a used one from another member or better yet off a totaled one.

I sold it. I wasn't planning on getting a CS but the deals I'm getting are cheaper than my current m3 lease so I can't say no. Hmm never thought about looking for a totaled one

People try to sell their ZCP exhausts all the time. I would just grab one off a forum member. You can probably get one for like $300-400 bucks.

I'm checking the forum daily for one. A lot of people overprice them. One is local to me but he wants $800 for it

Slap the non zcp exhaust on there and grab some black tips to go with it. No one will notice.

Ya. People think they're worth something. Really the exhausts are not worth much unless someone is in your situation. Scrap Metal for the most part.

I feel bad for whoever gets your car next

But I too agree that a regular exhaust with the black tips should work no problem

So you have a non ZCP exhaust that you can put on and you have a MPE that you don't want to put on. What is currently on the car now?

Haha I'm super late to this comment. Turned the car in and dealership didn't notice a damn thing with the non-zcp exhaust 😁

I had the MPE on it at the time of this post. Had the non-zcp exhaust in my garage. I turned in the car with the non-zcp exhaust and dealership didn't even notice it
