VRSF Stainless Steel Midpipes ***New Product***
VRSF Stainless Steel Midpipes For your 2014+ BMW M3 & M4 with the S55 Engine We are proud to introduce our VRSF 3" Stainless Steel Midpipes for the S55 F80/F82 M3 & M4. These 2.5" midpipes are one of the most cost effective modificaitons available for your S55, with gains from 18hp & 30tq when tuned. By eliminating the incredibly restrictive OEM F80 M3 and F82 M4 mid pipe, backpressure is reduced significantly which results in faster spool, an increase in power & a more aggressive exhaust note. This product was designed and engineered for a direct fit on both the F80 M3 and F82 M4 and the difference in power will be noticeable the moment it is installed! FEATURES:
This item fits the following BMWs: 2014+ F80/F82/F83 BMW M3 & M4 Note: Fits both Left Hand Drive & Right Hand Drive Models

Exactly. It's roughly 60% less than the competition. Never understood why a mid pipe cost 1200- and up. An ECS H pipe for my old B7 RS4 cost 400-.

Noob question again but if I got just the midpipe with my stage 1 tune, would I see an additional gain in power and/or air flow if I added DP's? I would imagine it's too raspy though. Also, does this throw any codes?
Trying to decide between just this or the VSRF DP + AA Midpipe combo I asked about a couple weeks ago.

AA is a single vs VRSF is dual. VRSF is comparable to the other dual pipe non res like Fabspeed, REMUS or Borla.

With DP and mid, you should expect some performance gains at least in turbo spool.

Dual midpipe will give you a more aggressive tone Single midpipe like Active Autowerke has a cleaner, rasp free tone. It all depends on your mods and the exhaust tone you are looking for

2. I have a buddy with an AA midpipe with downpipes on his ZCP car and I feel like it's extremely raspy and sounds like crap. I guess I'll need to see vids of this installed. Extremely interested in purchasing for mine. |
