Picture Request: BSM F82 or dark exterior with ONLY a diffuser installed
Favor to ask, does anybody have pics of only a carbon diffuser installed on a BSM F82 or similarly dark M4? No other exterior mods (or at least no spoilers).
I liked the look of the diffuser on my old 335is, but am not a fan of lip spoilers or pretty much any other exterior CF mods. I'm not sure if that would look wonky or unbalanced though. If you do have one, please list the make of the diffuser too. Thanks! And to be fair since it's a Photo forum, a freshly washed shot of my BSM F82. |

Thanks; decided I definitely need the look of the diffuser even if it's the only CF part I install. Opted for a 2x2 weave piece too, although I was tempted to get a 1x1 since the roof is and that's likely to be the only other exterior part I'll have in CF.

Really can't go wrong with one. And once you have one and you see a car without one it looks naked.

You are 100% right! Now that it's on there, I can't believe I went so long without one. It was one of the best style and character features of my old 335is, I already can't remember what my M4 looked like without it!

I have been in the same situation thinking of which diff. to get, took the black painted from Rieger with longer fins as it fits perfectly and I donīt wanted just one CF piece on my car.

I'm tempted to add the CF lip spoiler like you have and draw the line at just those two pieces.
RW Carbon "M Performance Style". But I wouldn't go with RW again. Where prices are now (side note: they dropped their web price literally one day after I ordered and didn't respond to my request for a price match or credit, which was annoying) I would buy a good condition used OEM one or go with a slightly higher quality branded aftermarket one. All are around $500 or so these days for the same M Performance style. I like center fins but not the styles with large extensions around the sides. Especially if I'm only going one (maybe two) CF pieces. |
