Oh I understand now. Some dealerships are only giving 3k in incentives and others 3500 in this region

That's separate, that's the leasing credit which they advertise to the customers. The 5k flagship money is a dealer rebate only, it's not directed to the customer and the dealer does not need to pass that on to you.

Oh I understand. That’s basically internal that the dealer will try to pocket most of, which is why they don’t mention it.

Sorry for late response was out of action due to a surgery.
I never meant to come across in a negative tone/format (if it was taken that way at all). If you've know your guy for 15 years and trust him he was probably telling the truth and your probably right on the regional or amended part. Wasn't sure if some guy was BS'ing you and just wanted to keep you informed Quote:

Hey Palik,
think I did a quote for you last week. Easiest way to tell if a dealer is giving you the flagship money is if the discount (not including rebates/incentives) is $16,000 or more. That's the only way we can give $16k+ off MSRP |

I got $15k off in December and deals seem to have only gotten better since then.

Hey guys, I am trying to work on a deal on a m3 cs msrp $106,845 and I have gotten down to 89000 which is a little over 16%. Think this is good or is there more meat on the bone to grab?
