Actually I'm the new owner and keep to continue the previous owner idea to not get this car dirty ever. It's 2015 (19k mikes) and has never seen the snow, rain just a few times. Wrapped xpel too.

Snow I get because of the salt on the roads, but have never understood avoiding rain unless you just washed it

I try to keep the cars parked inside as much as possible. But x5 and the wife's range stays outside since the floor will be a mess from the snow melting in the garage.

A garage about a 5 min walk from our house as we don't have enough space in the attached garage. Good exercise to take a walk both ways.

Daily driver between F83 and F85 based my mood, sometimes both in the same day. Both are garaged as I have a 3 car garage. Wife's X3 stays in driveway.

Now that’s a nice garage.

M's have priority! Had to kick the i3 out into the cold after picking up another M! Yes my garage is a mess, I blame my wife but really I should also get off my ass and clean it out to fit another car! Wife's car lives outside with the i3!

thanks.

and I got plenty of practice from my f30 335 before. being 5'10" and 160lbs helps. I open the door jussst enough to shimmy out of the car.

my gf has it worse. anytime we take the Ferrari out and park next to a curb she has to contort her way over the driver side and get out. The car is so low that the door would hit the sidewalk.

Garaged at home and garaged at work. However, as with every one of my previous 3 series Beemers, I daily drive them 50 miles per day rain, snow, sleet or hail (well maybe not hail). I buy them to drive them. I don't want to drive some other piece of crap car in the winter. I down size the wheels to 18", slap some Blizzaks on my 519 square set up (255x40x18 on four 9" 519 front wheels), and away I go. Run it through a brushless car wash as soon as it gets above freezing and I make sure to wax and polish it frequently. My cars always look like new.

Wait a second, does that mean you run an extension cord outside to charge the i3?

I move it back near the 2nd garage door where the charger is. The cord is long enough and the garage door is small/light enough to close on top of the cord without damaging it.
