Mine was the exact same.

As per my indie mechanic who sees hundreds of F8X's.

He mentions typically before 60k miles you will get the leaks and then they are good for about 60k everytime after.

I must be lucky then. I got about 80k miles out of valve cover and oil filter gaskets and 96k miles out of oil pan gasket. Hope I’m good for a while.

lol relax there.. the whole story is this - The car was in a display collection for 3 years. I only bought it just under a year ago but it was still 'brand new' with 90km on the odometer. All those miles are in the last 9 months not 4 years.

Wow, maybe has something to do with the heat here in south Florida. Impressive, and here I was considering trading my car in because of my miles. Any other issues that you have had?

Only a stripped oil pan bolt at about 50k. Still runs well.

9 months 3,000 miles

Reminds me of puppy mills where they keep those poor animals in cages.

lol its true its a shame I know. I live centrally and work from home so everything is a short drive and it's a pandemic. I even look for reasons to go driving and thats all I could muster. Plus the fact that it's winter for 6 month and thats what the SUV is for. Although I do have winter tires and love to slide around when I can. the perfect storm of perfect shame. I stand chastised and I am ready to admit my failings to you all. This summer I will try to be better and put at least 4000 miles on.
