M2C competition brakes on F80m3/F82m4

HI Guys,

Has anyone replaced the stock brakes with the M2C calipers and larger rotors on a F80 M3/M4?
Is it a direct bolt on to the stock steering knuckle?

Do you need the different brake booster as well? (the one used with cars with the CCB option)?

It's discussed in another thread. Conclusion: It's plug-n-play, and you don't need to replace the brake booster since a different brake booster is used to compensate the different coefficient of friction on CCB.

Thanks I priced out the parts and it's over $5k with the pads... also limits your wheel options to 19"+.

Interesting, I thought the different CCB brake booster was necessary because of the larger calipers and not because of the friction differences between iron and carbon ceramics.

Then in that case. You would been a new booster for a BBK. You donít. Itís for the ceramic friction

Just installed in my M4 F82.
I have installed new CCB brake calipers (yellow), M2C brake discs, Endless ME22 brake pads, metal hoses and racing brake fluid.

I have also coded the calibration of the M2C brake booster with 2NH. Great improvement.

What calibration do you need to do? I thought it's a simple plug and play and that you don't need to change the booster.

not sure what N2H means, can you elaborate?

just go to realoem.com for the part numbers and then go to bmwpartspros to look up the part numbers and pricing... it comes out to just over $5k

I don't see very many pad options for the calipers though aside from OEM

if you use 380mm rotors, they will work with 19" wheels and just squeeze in some 18's.

You can run the kit without a different brake booster. Iím 100% on this.

I run a Brembo GT kit and assume the pedal feel is similar to this kit. Itís more linear and predictable. The more you put down the more it will bite, and so forth

Guys, sorry to ask but I cannot get the M2 Comp 400mm OEM part numbers for the discs front & rear?

just purchased a set of CCD calipers to upgrade onto my M4 Comp.

any help greatly appreciated,

Sorry to butt in here, but are you saying the M2C has better brakes than a regular M4?
I thought they were the same.

The M2 upgrade brakes are 400mm and slightly larger than the 380 fitted to my M4 Comp.

for the gold calipers which anti rattle spring and guide bolts do you use?
is it these part numbers:
34116862801 (rattle clip/spring)
34116850934 (guide pin)

This is of course using pads for iron rotors

Interesting. Got any more pics of this setup? Any other modifications you had to make? I currently have carbon ceramics but have thought about doing something like this because Im frustrated with lack of wheel options. Not a fan of 20's.

very true ~ you really need to crank up that piston force on CCB kit.

only other photo I have is with my standard 20" wheels.
did a track day last weekend with my 18" without a problem.
note however, I use 380mm rotors.
