Video: F80 M3 Continues Final Testing on Nurburgring

Now that much tech specs for the F80 M3 / F82 M4 have been revealed, do you perceive the M3 any differently when seeing it in action?

We can finally be sure that what we are seeing and hearing is an M3 powered by its 3.0L bi-turbo inline 6 S55 engine outputting approximately 430 hp, far beyond 369 lb-ft, and to a redline just north of 7500 RPM.

Here is the F80 M3 prototype continuing some final testing on the Nurburgring ahead of its January debut at the Detroit auto show. Order banks should open in January-February 2014, followed by production in the Spring and deliveries by late Spring - early Summer.

Actually looks a little more squirrely under braking than prior videos but that may be down to the driver pushing harder. Overall looks fast and well controlled.

Very good road compliance IMO, far less body roll (there`s hardly any

) compared to previous ///M cars.

They are really pushing to the limit, I do like it.........

Nice with more footage but nothing new here. Composed, fast, running from low rpm to mid rpm shifts and an IMO poor soundtrack. This car is going to be give and take from the current one and very different. I can't wait to drive one. When can we expect demo cars to arrive? March - April? Will there be a paid pre-drive event as the M5 Sevilla event?

Strangely enough I like that green on the F30 as well. I generally don't like green cars or loud colors but it seems that for me the F30 needs something loud to not look anonymous and it kind of works. Not sure I'm brave enough though. It kind of screams mid life crisis...
